EKA Photography: July 8th, 2011

Welllll, today, it became official! I will be going to college, this fall! I'll be studying to get my degree in photography *finally doing it.* I'm excited to get better at what I love:). I'm also very excited to get photoshop so I can start messing around with that. I'm also very, very, VERY excited to buy my new lens:D. Don't know when, or what it will be, but I am already excited:). It's about time!\

So, it's summer! It's hot, but it's also beautiful. The sun is out longer (I think one of the very few things I'm thankful for, about summer) and it makes it so much easier to get good pictures, later in the day. I have a love/hate relationship with summer, because of this. But, with that being said, I've gotten some cool "sun" shots with some of my lovely friends. The best part, is it's not too much editing! Thats all because of the lovely lighting *thanks to the summer sun:).* So this is what I've gotten in the past week or so.

(July 3rd) Elizabeth is a great friend:). Beautiful Beth is what I like to call her:). Full of joy, grace and beauty. I love her a lot!

(July 3rd) This beautiful woman, Victoria, has been in my life, for many, many years and has brought so much joy. She's moving on to, big things which includes moving to Texas. Bitter-sweet:). But so excited that I got to get a couple good shots of her before she left the great state of VA. I love this lady so much.
